Washing instructions
Paying some extra attention to how you wash your clothes will not only prolong the life of the garment, but also help minimize the environmental impact and save our natural resources.
The washing instruction on the care label will give you advice on how to best care for your garment. Follow the washing instructions on the care label carefully!
The washing temperature is especially important to follow as some colours can stain other garments in the same load if washed at 30°C but not at 40°C.
Always separate the laundry into matching colours and correct washing temperatures before wash.
Empty pockets and close zippers. Turn the garment inside out.
Use detergents sparingly because too large doses bleach the color and wear the garment unnecessarily.
If hand wash is required please dissolve the detergent thoroughly in finger-warm water before dipping the garment repeatedly and then rinse thoroughly. If the garment stays in the water for a long time there is a risk that the colours will fade or stain.
Drying instructions
Always air dry if possible. Shake the garment and hang it up. Note that chunky-knitted garments should be re-shaped and dried flat to maintain the original shape.
This is why these garments are additionally labelled “dry flat”.
Always try to avoid using a tumble dryer.
Ironing instructions
Always follow the specified temperature on the care label!
Use a thin towel between the garment and the iron.
Be cautious when ironing on stitches and other thicker parts as details can be bleached by the heat of the iron.
